Tampa Bay Smart Cities Quarterly Meeting – October 1, 2019

The Tampa Bay SmartCities Quarterly meeting was held on October 1, 2019. The meeting included summary updates of the work on the data platform and the MaaS pilot. Attendees also focused on the work associated with the re-imagining infrastructure theme, including a quarterly update on the Work Zone Data Initiative, progress of the FDOT Ramp Metering Strategy and a deeper review of the South County Mobility Project.

Members also updated the attendees on the National Transportation Center Grant, MetroLab, US Ignite, and South County Mobility.

Mobility as a Service-RFI

On July 29, 2019, the City of Tampa released a request for information for Mobility as a Service. The City of Tampa is issuing this Request for Information (“RFI”) in order to solicit responses to the questions presented in this document in connection with proposed pilot project for Mobility as a Service (MaaS), in the Tampa Bay region (the “Project”). Together with the partners from the Tampa Bay Smart Cities Alliance, the City of Tampa is seeking information that may help with the evaluation of potential options for development, financing, procurement and delivery of the Project.

Submissions are due to the City of Tampa by August 16, 2019 at 3:30pm.
