Tampa Bay Smart Cities Quarterly Meeting – July 1, 2021

Tampa Bay Smart Cities Alliance Quarterly workshop was held on July 1, 2021.

The meeting included updates from FDOT District 7, the City of Tampa and the City of St Petersburg.

Dr. Barbeau provided an update on the 2016 USDOT Smart City Challenge winner, Smart Columbus.

The workshops included reimagining infrastructure, regional data platform and Mobility as a Service.

Ken Spitz reviewed action items and next steps.

Tampa Bay Smart Cities Quarterly Meeting – March 24, 2021

This workshop was held on March 24, 2021. This session provided updates on the regional data platform, mobility-as-a-service, reimagining infrastructure, work zone data exchange, emerging grant opportunities, and potential future themes.

The session also included a demo on improving the management of Hillsborough County’s Lane and Road Closures approach by migrating and consolidating operations and inspections to GIS.
